Well golly gee wiz Bob, I’m sure that Ted Kennedy didn’t mean to drown Mary Jo Kopechne at Chappaquiddick and Cigarman didn’t mean to violate several trusts when he diddled with Monica Lewinsky any more than you meant to show off your racist side, but no matter how you spin explain it at the end of the day, it is what it is. Such is reality.
By the way Bob, have you noticed how tired Hillary is looking lately?

I worked for Bob Kerrey and he has been my favorite politician since 1988. I have prayed that he would be elected President ever since then. I am shocked to find that today, with his underhanded smear of Obama, that I will never trust anything he says again. I imagine the Clinton’s purchased his subtle smear for a high price. Karl Rove could have written the same comments. I feel like a naive child who just found out his hero is the opposite of a hero. Maybe I should seek counseling at a cult awareness group. I hope there is a limit to the number of Robert Hansen’s in the Democratic Party.
It is true that Karl Rove COULD have written or uttered the same comments, but he did not. It is also true that any republican candidate running for POTUS COULD have written or uttered this comment. They have not.
The truth we see today is that a Hillary supporter who was a Democrat Senator DID MAKE THESE COMMENTS. The only question is, how do we spin this to fault the republicans. Maybe if we mention Karl Rove …
