This Ain’t B-Ball Obama!

Nothing in Obama’s life prepared him for this, especially not pickup games in the park. An errant elbow, a trip, bluffing the bullies off the court does not compare to dealing with maniacal despots. It is not a matter of scoring points and alternating defense and offense, in real life the mission of the President is to prevent the other from scoring any points. His oath of office is to defend this Country. Obama’s overtures to our enemies are like playing 2 on 5. Obama is overmatched. His book smarts are no match for the combined savvy of some of the most insane people on Earth!

You don’t make nice with fanatics. They don’t want to be your friend. All they want to do is use you. China is trying to push our navy out of international waters. Russia is invading countries and demanding we abandon all our promises to allies. The Taliban wants total and complete Shari’ah. Iran is maneuvering to attack Israel. North Korea has threatened war. Syria is funneling more rockets into Lebanon and Gaza. Because first Obama winked at them showing his lack of spine, then he blinked. The status quo no longer is in place. Now any pipsqueak country can stand up, threaten   the United States without consequences.

The Socialist Nations of the World see a comrade in Obama. They see what the American people don’t see. They see the people that surround Obama. They see and hear the “deals”, the “offers”, and the conciliation as just what it is…weakness.

Obama would abandon the military research and development, the production of weapons and the security of this Nation to make friends with the devils of this world. I wonder if he has even read the psychological profiles that are part of his briefing packet. Does he realize that Putin is a latent homosexual and desperately trying to hide the fact? Does he know about Kim Jong Il’s predilection for very young girls? Does Obama even care?

In poker you watch for your opponent’s “tells”, that little tic that says they are bluffing. Obama has a “tell”! Watch for it next time he speaks (if you can stomach his rhetoric). Watch him when he lies. If I can see it then you know the intelligence agencies of the World can see it and from their actions they have seen it and are acting accordingly.

Obama’s lack of resolve will cause the loss of America lives like we haven’t seen since WW2. If we come together we may survive, but with so many cowards in the media and the voting public it is more likely that the death knell has sounded. “Ask not for whom the bell tolls, It tolls for thee!”

E-Verify expires on March 6, 2009 – thanks to the Stimulus Plan!!! Please sign the petition and if you are a blogger or have a forum put the petition on your site!

Wake Up America Movement has sent out the following alert and call for urgent action. If you believe that illegal immigration is a serious issue which damages our US economy and our culture, sign this PETITION for REINSTATEMENT OF E-VERIFY (see petition at end of this explanation).

E-Verify is a free, simple web-based system that verifies employment eligibility of new employees. It is the primary means by which American businesses can easily ascertain the work status of new hires online – and is long considered a “Smart Business Practice.” http://www.smartbusinesspractices.com/legal_everifyfaq.php

Access to E-Verify has been in existence since 1997. It is operated jointly by the Department of Homeland Security and the Social Security Administration. More than 87,000 employers are enrolled in the program and in 2008 E-Verify had over 6.5 million queries.

As of February 12, Department of Homeland Security website still indicates that “starting May 12, 2009 Federal contractors will be required to use the E-Verify system, so that the federal government does business with companies that have a legal workforce.”

Despite that official online government information:

While the House of Representatives recommended a 4 year renewal of E-Verify in late 2008, the Senate reduced this extension to only 4 months. And the Congressional Conference Committee which finalized the “Stimulus Plan” (HR1) removed permanent use of E-Verify from that bill altogether. As a result, E-Verify expires on March 6, 2009 .

Apparently, Congress is hoping We the People won’t notice they want to let legal status checks on US workers disappear! Let’s show Capital Hill we are paying attention. If you believe that illegal immigration is a serious issue which damages our US economy and our culture, sign this Petition Now and send everyone you know who cares to also sign on – right away.

This Petition for Reinstatement of E-Verify, in support of hiring workers who have legal work status, will be sent to Washington.

PETITION for REINSTATEMENT OF E-VERIFY

We, the undersigned People, represents millions more middle class American workers who believe that US jobs should go to US citizens and immigrants of legitimate legal status. We recognize the employment of illegal aliens disenfranchises American workers.. We also realize that employment of illegal workers damages our own economic condition as well as the fabric of our society. Finally, we assert that the inability of American businesses to continue their use of E-Verify jeopardizes our Homeland Security.

Because these are vital issues to which our public officials should be giving attention, on our behalf, we strongly urge the re-instatement of E-Verify as its planned use is stated on the public site of the Department of Homeland Security: “Starting May 12, 2009 Federal contractors will be required to use the E-Verify system, so that the federal government does business with companies that have a legal workforce.”

• We vehemently object to the US Senate curtailment of the extension of E-Verify.

• We vehemently oppose the “Stimulus Plan” Conference Committee removal of E-Verify from HR 1 as a requirement for all Federal contracts.

We, therefore,

• insist that E-Verify be extended beyond March 6 and be expanded to include, as originally planned, all federal contracts and subcontracts awarded as a result of the “Stimulus Plan” (HR1)

We will record all voting records in Congress regarding E-Verify. We will inform the press and the public of this information. We will support the re-election of those who support the American workforce by extending and enforcing the E-Verify program.

You don’t need to tell a veteran war is hell
they have survived the gore and the smell
fighting their fear and depriving death
wondering when they’d take a last breath

Soldiers have a passionate desire for peace
they only want the hostilities to cease
only mad fools fight for power and glory
and only greedy despots fight for territory

Soldiers fight hard so they can survive
The enemy becomes a thing, not alive
to think of them as human causes duress
Emotions the soldier has to suppress

Yes, a soldier knows the value of liberty
as he lives among the horror and brutality
aware he might make the ultimate sacrifice
He is trained and willing to pay the price

A soldier knows something’s are worth it
and you should always give him his credit
to a man-at-arms, freedom is the prize
it is his life, his purpose and his reward

Remember next time you kneel to pray
or when you awake to greet the new day
Soldiers have lived through war’s misery
So you may breathe easy and live free

Iraq Army buys LAV25

Iraq is buying 392 LAV (Light Armor Vehicle) 25s. These are the same eight wheeled vehicles used by the U.S. Marine Corps. The LAV series are a licensed version of the Swiss MOWAG Piranha. This model is in use by many other countries. This information is on Mashable, today. Stan Schroeder is exposing Google for providing pics of Fort Sam Houston military base. Google says it was a mistake, and that they’ve corrected it, but as of the publishing of this article (3/7/08 at Noon CST) this much is still available. Apparantly what was showing earlier, that prompted the Pentagon to get involved, showed even more, including the location of the guards and other security information, including 360-degree footage of the insides of some buildings.
