Ayers Admits Writing ‘Dreams’ to Conservative Blogger

Last Friday we posted an article asserting Bill Ayers’ authorship of President Barack Obama’s ‘Dreams From My Father,’ based on claims made by Obama biographer Christopher Andersen. It is possible that we have now gotten direct confirmation of this from Bill Ayers himself. 

Anne Leary of Back Yard Conservative was passing through Washington, DC’s Reagan National Airport yesterday, and was surprised to come across Bill Ayers at Starbucks: “scruffy, thinning beard, dippy earring, and the wire rims, heading to order.” 

She struck up a conversation with him and snapped the accompanying photo. 

I interviewed Anne this morning about it. 

Ayers was in Washington, he told her, for a conference on education. 

“That’s what I do, education,” he said. “You shouldn’t believe everything you hear about me… You know nothing about me.” 

To which she responded, “I said, I know plenty–I’m from Chicago, a conservative blogger, and I’ll post this.” 

I bet his heart skipped a beat on that one. 

But he didn’t scowl, and didn’t run off as he has been known to do. Instead, unprompted, he blurted out: “I wrote ‘Dreams From My Father… Michelle asked me to.” Then he added “And if you can prove it we can split the royalties.” 

Anne responded, “Stop pulling my leg!” 

But he repeated insistently, “I wrote it, the wording was similar [to Ayers’ other writing.]”

Anne responded, “I believe you probably heavily edited it.” 

Ayers stated firmly, “I wrote it.” 

Anne ended the conversation by saying “why would I believe you? You’re a liar.” 

Good for her. But we are left to wonder. Despite her parting shot, Anne was convinced Ayers was in earnest. He was making a public statement. He wanted this news out there. 

Was he, as she had asked, pulling our collective legs? Other sources report rumors that Ayers is very upset both about not getting any credit for helping Obama on ‘Dreams,’ and may also be put off by being summarily thrown under the bus along with Rev. Wright and everyone else who becomes an inconvenience to this President. 

My understanding of communists is that most would know better and keep their mouths shut. But Ayers is a bit different. He is, as he says, a “small ‘c’ communist,” but he is also, in a certain, slimy way, an entrepreneur, as we explained in Monday’s post. (Apologies in advance to entrepreneurs everywhere.) He grew up a very rich kid, used to getting everything he wanted. Even as an adult his career has relied on a hand up from his wealthy father. His past statements and radical activities also mark him as a megalomaniac. In youth he drew attention to himself by blowing things up. As an adult “educator” he merely attempts to subvert children. But that doesn’t seem to be going so well. 

He is under a lot of pressure, too. Ayers and his horrid wife Bernardine Dohrn are believed to have planned and executed the San Francisco Park Police Station bombing in 1970 that killed police sergeant Brian V. McDonnell and wounded several others. Efforts to bring them to justice have been underway for some time, as brought to light this past March in a National Press Club conference put on by Cliff Kincaid of America’s Survival. 

Cliff’s guests included Larry Grathwohl, the FBI’s undercover agent who penetrated Ayers’ Weather Underground and produced this stunning testimony about Ayers’ plan to massacre 25 million Americans, retired S.F. policeman James Pera, first on the scene at the bombing, and veteran researcher Trevor Loudon.  

Now, a recent exposé by San Francisco reporter Peter Jamison has revealed additional evidence, including testimony from other Weather Underground members, that Dohrn planted the bomb that killed Sgt. McDonnell. 

Maybe in his overstressed state Bill’s megalomania has just gotten the better of him.

Concepts for Conservatives

I am a conservative. I realize that a lot of people make that claim without having any real concept of what it means. I also realize that when made in the  presence of liberals such an admission brings scowls, scoffing or outright verbal attacks on one’s: parentage, intelligence, education or belief system.

Only by understanding the enemies of freedom and democracy can we win this battle against socialism. The  community agitator and author Saul Alinsky wrote a “book” entitled “Rules for Radicals” (Amazon.com ISBN # 0679721134, Be sure to read the reviews by readers). I am sure most of you have at least by now heard of it but wonder how many of you have studied it.

Sun Tzu in his treatise “The Art of War” stated:

It is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you will not be imperiled in a hundred battles; if you do not know your enemies but do know yourself, you will win one and lose one; if you do not know your enemies nor yourself, you will be imperiled in every single battle.

To fight any battle without intelligence and information on the opposing force is just plain stupid.

Alinsky, himself, acknowledged that true change comes only with revolution. His book is a primer on how to foment that revolution and create class warfare. It was written specifically to cause dissent and encourage the “have-nots” to take every thing away from the “haves”. In other words to unite the takers and do nothings of the world to live off the sweat and labor of the productive.

Alinsky believed that capitalism was Machiavellian in nature, that if you were rich you got there by being devious and dishonest.

Alinsky like his acolytes Obama, Clinton, Davis, Ayers, and most of the current administration realized that they had to create change from inside the system. They had to agitate from within and then attack. They are still agitating and still attacking American ideals and principles!

The first step in community organization is community disorganization.

Alinsky’s rules were guidelines that had to be fluid and changeable according to the situation, much like Obama’s speeches.

Alinsky’s strategy was to bait and goad opponents into reacting. Diversion from the issues and blaming others. Well so far this has been Obama’s tactics also.

The current situation is not just a political exercise or cycle it is a war. Each action by the opposition is intended to be a battle for the hearts and minds of the un or ill informed. You must brace for it, be prepared. You must attempt to educate and prepare others so that they see through the smoke screens intentionally being deployed while they attempt back room deals and hidden agendas in Congressional Bills. We must all be ever vigilant and prepared to fight to hold on to the principles and ethics that this great Republic was founded on.

At least be aware of Alinsky’s basic rules so that you can spot them when they are applied. Arm yourselves with knowledge and spread the truth because there is nothing that they hate more than the truth. When they then start labeling you and calling you names you know that you have at least one small battle. The battle is on! Are you prepared for the War?

First the Obama Administration has Dodd place some additional language into a Bill that allows AIG’s execs to get paid their huge bonuses, knowing that the public will object. Then Obama claims ignorance (while laughing), and now as a result of the language of the stimulus Bill the administration is pushing for additional powers to take over and control private businesses. And like everything else this Administration does, this must be done quickly to prevent a failure of apocalyptic proportions.

I smell something rotten, but it seems most of the voting public still thinks Obama is the best thing since sliced bread. Legislation has been written and passed in record time. Congress, which normally moves at a snail’s pace, has been like a race car on steroids. Bills that are reams thick. Bills that no one has read. When has this Administration had time to sit and write these Bills?

A person might wonder if these Bills were written long before Inauguration Day, possibly around Bill Ayers’ kitchen table, or maybe George Soros’.

Perhaps it is time for the brakes to be applied. Geithner is experimenting not only with the financial system of the U.S. but with the future of freedom. This is a man who can’t even fill out his taxes with the help of Turbotax.

Obama supporters only 50 percent less racist than KKK.

A report released today to coincide with the election of Barack Obama as precedent, shows that Obama supporters are only half as tolerant or even Liberal as they believe.

“By default, all Democrat voters voted for a white man as much as they did for a black man” said Milo Filofax, the Director of a study titled ‘Obama: The Auditing of Soap’. The reports findings may cause some concern among white Obama voters, not only among those that hate other white people, but especially those that hate themselves.

Even with regular Starbucks breaks, being patronising to minorities is demanding both physically and time-wise, sometimes taking up whole afternoons of chanting meaningless slogans that cost nothing. This doesn’t include the long journey from bohemian areas to welfare and crime plagued urban sprawl, and then back again to better neighbourhoods.

Naturally, to discover that all the years of posturing have been a delusion or even worse, an utter fraud, could prove emotionally devastating”, said Milo.

“After such an epiphany, ones sense of moral vanity and Cognitive Dissonance could be so shattered, so thoroughly discredited by useless facts, that one may never recover, incapable of wearing a Che the child killer t-shirt in an affluent and free democracy again”, added Filofax.

“…Education is never neutral. It always has a value, a position, a politics. Education either reinforces or challenges the existing social order, and school is always a contested space—what should be taught? In what way? Toward what end? By and for whom? At bottom, it involves a struggle over the essential questions: what does it mean to be a human being living in a human society?

“Totalitarianism demands obedience and conformity, hierarchy, command and control. Royalty requires allegiance. Capitalism promotes racism and materialism—turning people into consumers, not citizens. Participatory democracy, by contrast, requires free people coming together, voluntarily as equals who are capable of both self-realization and, at the same time, full participation in a shared political and economic life.”

In a previous post I sourced the great David Horowitz at Free Republic and ended up at the wonderfully anachronistic and naturally stupid Revolutionary Communist Party of America website, as you do. And upon its turgid pages, I found a 2006 interview with Bill Ayers, the phony ‘with the people’ Marxist psycho and still entirely avid pipe bomb maker. Ayer’s was interviewed by the fantastically named comrade idiot called er, Reggie Dylan! No, really. I write to a lot of people and not all of them are willfully deluded loons. I simply must post some of the mountains of letters I write soon. Simply must old boy! They make riveting reading, but who needs a riveting?

Anyway, I managed to get through the insane self-inflating and self-congratulating rationalisations of baggy eyed Bill and I thought “hey, I think I’ll write to Reggie!” So I did.

And Reggie, God bless him, wrote back in a fashion. He linked me to “Revolution #55!” on his websites crazy dial. Oh man. It’s a classic. It’s a Marxist Madness May Day Sale! Obama: Bill Ayers was “rehabilitated”
