Turkey Follows Saudi Arabia and Declares Barbie Images “Obscene”

Anasamed is reporting that Muslim leaders want to ban images of Barbie on backpacks. They are quoted as saying:

”images of these super-heroes are almost obscene, on bags and objects that students use. These images draw students into a dream-world and carry them away from real life. We want to protect students from the invasion of foreign culture and that is why we have ordered the technical institute for girls’ education to prepare bags and T-shirts that are decorated with images of famous Turkish citizens.”

 

Vindicated By Muslims Against Sharia Law.

Occasionally, if a thinker-activist lives long enough and keeps in the fight, she might just experience a moment of vindication. For me, last evening was one of those moments.

Yesterday, I completed a QNA with the National Review about honor killings/”honorcides” which appears there today and which you may read HERE or below in its entirety. I also did a long interview with a major new service on the subject which is slated to appear tomorrow. Like many other wire services and like the mainstream media, ideas such as mine are usually sidelined, marginalized, attacked, or simply “disappeared.” I do not think this will happen tomorrow.

And now, I have a number of honorable allies. One surely is NOW-New York State President, Marcia Pappas who is now also being attacked for her having linked the Buffalo beheading with “honor killings,” with “Islam,” and even with “Islamic terrorism.” Indeed, she was attacked yesterday by a coalition of eight domestic violence victim advocacy providers in Erie County where the Buffalo beheading took place. Will Obama Allow the Islamification of America?

Manchurian Candidate, Simply Overwhelmed, or Asleep at the Wheel?

According to Frank Gaffney, President Obama has allegedly slighted British Prime Minister Gordon Brown-and yet, in truth, Obama seems to be following in Britain’s very European pro-Arab and pro-Islamist footsteps.

Obama’s first call to a foreign head of (a non-existent) state was to Palestinian, Mahmoud Abbas, in the West Bank; his first interview in the foreign media was with Al-Arabiya. According to Daniel Pipes,(who is far from “shocked” by Obama’s Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s various changes of mind vis a vis Israel), Clinton has “hammered” Israel for its failure to release funds to Gaza more quickly.

The Obama administration is also on record as committed to funding terrorist groups in Gaza, (all good intentions aside, that is what happens to the money that the international community pours into Gaza), and proudly on record as willing to conduct European-style “diplomacy” with states who sponsor terrorism both against Israel and against the West. Free Speech, Real Jews, Under Jihadic Siege in England, India, America, and Canada.

Jihad is fully upon the West, both by stealth and by more and more open displays of Islamic aggression, hatred, and violence. Free speech (which includes truth-telling and the right to self-defense), is under the most profound siege. The United Nations has long been lost, Europe, (at least England, Holland, and possibly France), have rapidly become dhimmi states. North America is-and has been-in the cross-hairs of jihadic desire.

The recent demonstrations, ostensibly about Gaza, turned into dangerous hatefests all across the country. University campuses have become increasingly dangerous for Jewish and other pro-Israel or anti-fascist, pro-democracy students. Just the other day in Toronto, a student wearing a kippah set off a huge riot among the highly Palestinianized student body which even the Toronto police could not put down.

India has also had to live with countless Muslim terrorist attacks before the Mumbai atrocity and with attacks against authors, such as Bangladeshi Taslima Nasrin, who had been granted asylum in an Indian city. (She is now, once again, living in Europe). A friend of mine who lives in another Indian city has been writing to me about the situation but feels she cannot afford to go public with her views or her information. I am saddened, appalled by her silence, but I do understand it. I am grateful that she immediately called my attention to the incredible fuss that a recent article written by Johann Hari in the English language Statesman has caused. Hari asks why religion cannot be criticized or rather why only some religions cannot be criticized. Unbelievably, by February 12th, the editors of the Statesmen who published Hari’s piece were arrested for “offending Islam.”

The Great Dutchman Geert Wilders Slams Euroweenie Dhimmi Suicide.

Geert Wilders Leader of the Partij Voor Vrijheid and a member of the Dutch Parliament, is a very rare European man. Geert has balls, a backbone, a brain, pride and an adult sense of history via research and analytical skills. Geert believes in himself, his culture, its achievements, the hard won freedoms and effective values of capitalist democracy etc. Geert loves America and is not an anti-Semite. Geert presents the harsh empirical avalanche of facts regarding Islam. Thus Geert Wilders is largely a man alone in the doomed EU, which doesn’t stand for European Union at all, but for Eunuchs Unconscious.

He’s not a Socialist boob, nor a Eurojerk elitist eternally jealous of American power and action. He’s not a Eurabian dhimmi ruling class imbecile, chattering away forever and all the way to the firing squad and beheading.

Nor is Geert the brainless and ignorant Pavlovian anti-American twerp that infests virtually every level of the Euro trash pile. Europe has a powerful economy per se, but is pathetically dependent on the innovation, guts, talent and markets of America and elsewhere. And Europeans don’t believe in nor do they defend, their own faded values against anyone, anywhere, anyhow, anymore.

The Euroweenie sees this toleration for the intolerance of Islam and the subsequent continent-wide sinking into a mire of gloom, as a self-evident achievement. Only the dopes of a dimwit dystopia would see steady social decay and a feeble overreach, as a poke in the eye to the massive power of America.

The EU’s lack of real professional firepower goes in hand in hand with their endless mealy mouthed and preposterous allegedly big talk and no action.

Ironically, rather like the Islamists who are bearing down on them, but much more effectively than the EUnuch’s of Poot, the mass murdering Islamic Nemesis carry out their nihilistic threats to the letter.

In Euro off the rails land, MUSLIM TERROR ALWAYS PAYS. Handsomely. It’s even subsidised.

Even with the now free and ex-Communist, naturally pro-American and freedom valuing Eastern states, most of Europe has no military power worth a damn, with all the reach of a stale croissant.

As Centurion Marcus Steynus said, the basic ability to defend the security of the people is THE definition of a mature and effective state. Not ONE European country can do this. Not even England can mount a serious effort virtually beyond its coastline and thus internationally. Britain is gutted by decades of Socialist Marxist indoctrination, Islamisation, censorship, disarmament of the people and is therefore old boy, doomed.

Take Them At Their Word Before It’s Too Late.
