The Arrogance of Obama

Obama is whining that in Washington, DC, “You’ve got some economists and some folks who think they’re economists. By the way, these days everybody thinks they’re economists,”. At the same time he was channeling the Oracle at Delphi and saying if Congress doesn’t pass HIS stimulus package the country is doomed. Perhaps he should go back and read about the Oracle and the part where you must have a pure soul, not his kind of soul it means instead good intentions, honest, compassionate, unsullied, wholesome, virtuous, modest, humble, etc (you know the personality that he doesn’t possess).
“A failure to act, and act now, will turn crisis into a catastrophe.”
– President Obama, Feb. 4
Not surprisingly the Congressional Budget office, the 230 expert government employees, most of whom are economists and public policy analysts say the “stimulus package” as written is bad for the Country.
Madam Pelosi in her spirit of bipartisanship threatened everyone to lay off her pet port and the NEA. Using House Rules she is trying to force bills through the House with little or no debate, no chance for conservative input, and trying to run roughshod over everyone to include President Obama. She wants higher taxes. For without higher taxes America might actually recover and then where would she be?
Change? “When was the last time that we saw a bill of this magnitude move out with no earmarks in it? Not one.” That’s a quote straight from Obama. So he now admits there will be no change just more pork until America is brought to her knees by the economy. Russia tried to promote socialism just like Obama and the Berlin wall fell. Now Obama wants America to fail. He wants to cut the defense budget, the military strength, weapons planning, and deterrent weapons. It is evident to the world he is a spineless empty suit. It should be evident to the people of America but they are too busy bleating for their handouts.

Asked on Fox News Sunday today about McCain’s “narrow focus” on earmarks, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) claimed that “if you believe earmarks is a narrow problem, then you don’t understand what’s happened because of earmarks.”
But asked by host Chris Wallace, “If earmarks are so bad, why did you ask for 71 projects totaling $305 million dollars in the last fiscal year?,” Graham could only re More..spond by saying that he has “been part of the problem”.
