What’s The Holdup On The Bailout?

Could it be the socialists trying to “attach” funding for criminal leftist groups?
How any sane adult human being can support the socialist(D) after reading the nearly hourly discoveries of rampant criminality, all on the tax payer dime, is completely beyond my capacity to understand. Unless of course your a communist, then it makes sense. The rest of you? Your completely ignorant of what a slimy bunch of characters you support. They’re like the garbage pail kids with syphilis and bad breath.
The following is breaking news from ARRA and Dr. Bill Smith:
Breaking News – Bill Smith, ARRA Editor. I received a copy of “Agreement in Principle” relative to the $700 billion “bailout” being proposed and supported by Senate Democrats. The one page agreement from the Banking Committee details guidelines to be put in place relative to taxpayer protection, oversight and transparency, home ownership preservation and Funding Authority.
While on the surface the agreement looks generic and positive, However, the “devil is in the detail.” There is one detail that Democrats are concerned that Republicans will not agree to in the bailout agreement. That is if the Republicans even see the item. It seems that this issue may be one reason that many Democrats have hounded Sen. John McCain and pushed for his speedy approval. Senate Majority Harry Reid (D-NV) has already identified that it is Sen. John McCain’s approval, not Barack Obama’s approval, that is needed to secure the agreement of Senate Republicans. In fact, the questioned provision indirectly focus on some prior concern regarding Sen. Barack Obama involvement with various organizations. Maybe that is why Obama would prefer being at a debate in Mississippi than being in Washington D.C.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) cohorts are also hounding Sen. McCain to agree. They know that neither the House Republicans nor the House Blue Dog Democrats are going to sign on easily to an agreement extending $700 billion “bailout” if Sen. McCain disagrees. Pelosi does not have control of the fiscally conservative Blue Dogs who are not happy with committing $700 billion to the “bailout” effort.
In the “agreement in principle,” there is the effect of a major “earmark” which commits money from future “profits” to be given to nonprofits organizations like ACORN, National Council of La Raza and potentially the National Urban League. This agreement clearly evidences that the Government expects to benefit in the future from the bailout when the values of property rises and mortgages or properties are then sold by the Federal government. The agreement –
“Directs a certain percentage of future profits to the Affordable Housing Fund and the Capital Magnet Fund to meet America’s housing needs.”
In the proposed bailout agreement, Sen. Christopher Dodd, the Senate Banking Committee and other Democrats desire to pre-direct that future funds (profits) not be returned to the taxpayers via the treasury but that they be used to underwrite potential questionable (maybe even illegal activities) of certain nonprofits which have had a hand in promoting and expanding access to “no money down” loans for minorities, illegal voter registrations and extensive lobbying activities.
Much more over at ARRA News Service.
Like I said, if your over 25 years of age, how can you look yourself or your family in the face knowing the diseased lot you support? Obama supporters 25 and under, they don’t know any better, they still believe the myth of liberal Nirvana.
You people need to do some serious soul searching on the slimy Marxist criminal you support named Barack Hussein Obama.

Bailout of Fannie/Freddie – a Move Toward Socialized Housing?

In April, in Finding a Roommate Online: It’s illegal to ask sexual orientation, race, or religion to choose a roommate, I wrote about the Fair Housing Act being applied to an online roommate-finding service.
As Wired.com explained in April:
Apartment hunting site Roommates.com cannot shield itself from an housing discrimination lawsuit by claiming it is just an internet forum, because the site requires users to answer questions about their gender, marital status and sexual orientation, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled Thursday.
The ruling is an important one because it sets a limit on a federal law protecting internet forums from lawsuits. Section 230 of the 1996 Communications Decency Act largely frees websites, online forums and ISPs from responsibility for what users say on their sites. Online freedom advocates describe that law as the best thing Congress has ever done for freedom of expression on the internet, since it allows social networking sites, hosted blogging services and news sites with commenting features — like this one — to let users be responsible for their words.
That legal immunity doesn’t apply to Roommates.com, the court ruled, because the check boxes on the site actively solicit discriminatory content, making the service much more than a simple forum….(more)
And I wrote in response:
The larger story here is that the advocates for the political-correctness agenda onine have just won a major victory while advocates for personal liberty and freedom of speech online have sustained a loss. Watch for more lawsuits like this, in which things like “discrimination” and “hate speech” become not only frowned upon by the online community, but actually illegal.
With this in mind, I cannot help but shudder a bit when I hear that the federal government has just seized two more major mortgage companies. I have to ask myself how long it will be before affirmative action and gay-rights activists will be suing the federal government for special considerations in neighborhood planning in lending practices? How long before banks and Realtors will be given special tax breaks and preference on corporate contracts according to their commitment to promoting the diversity doctrine?
It won’t be long.
