Concepts for Conservatives

(Updated)

I am a conservative. I realize that a lot of people make that claim without having any real concept of what it means. I also realize that when made in the  presence of liberals such an admission brings scowls, scoffing or outright verbal attacks on one’s: parentage, intelligence, education or belief system.

Only by understanding the enemies of freedom and democracy can we win this battle against socialism. The  community agitator and author Saul Alinsky wrote a “book” entitled “Rules for Radicals” (Amazon.com ISBN # 0679721134, Be sure to read the reviews by readers). I am sure most of you have at least by now heard of it but wonder how many of you have studied it.

Sun Tzu in his treatise “The Art of War” stated:

It is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you will not be imperiled in a hundred battles; if you do not know your enemies but do know yourself, you will win one and lose one; if you do not know your enemies nor yourself, you will be imperiled in every single battle.

To fight any battle without intelligence and information on the opposing force is just plain stupid.

Alinsky, himself, acknowledged that true change comes only with revolution. His book is a primer on how to foment that revolution and create class warfare. It was written specifically to cause dissent and encourage the “have-nots” to take every thing away from the “haves”. In other words to unite the takers and do nothings of the world to live off the sweat and labor of the productive.

Alinsky believed that capitalism was Machiavellian in nature, that if you were rich you got there by being devious and dishonest.

Alinsky like his acolytes Obama, Clinton, Davis, Ayers, and most of the current administration realized that they had to create change from inside the system. They had to agitate from within and then attack. They are still agitating and still attacking American ideals and principles!

The first step in community organization is community disorganization.

Alinsky’s rules were guidelines that had to be fluid and changeable according to the situation, much like Obama’s speeches.

Alinsky’s strategy was to bait and goad opponents into reacting. Diversion from the issues and blaming others. Well so far this has been Obama’s tactics also.

The current situation is not just a political exercise or cycle it is a war. Each action by the opposition is intended to be a battle for the hearts and minds of the un or ill informed. You must brace for it, be prepared. You must attempt to educate and prepare others so that they see through the smoke screens intentionally being deployed while they attempt back room deals and hidden agendas in Congressional Bills. We must all be ever vigilant and prepared to fight to hold on to the principles and ethics that this great Republic was founded on.

At least be aware of Alinsky’s basic rules so that you can spot them when they are applied. Arm yourselves with knowledge and spread the truth because there is nothing that they hate more than the truth. When they then start labeling you and calling you names you know that you have at least one small battle. The battle is on! Are you prepared for the War?

Where’s Hillary?

June 9, 2009 by Orlando

hillary-waldoShe is suppose to be the smartest woman in the world.  Where is she?  What happened to Hillary?  She has become Waldo!

Has anybody seen hide or hair of Hillary Clinton?  You remember her–the Secretary to State.  She was the one Barack Obama hand-picked to head her foreign policy.  Now she is harder to find than a needle in a haystack.  Nobody knows where she is, what she does, or, frankly, cares for that matter.  She is nothing more than a second rate toilet bowl cleaner in the Obama administration.  She has been sent off to obscurity.

In fact, I dare anybody to name one foreign policy success she has brokered.  I’m waiting.  Take your time…I’ve got plenty.  No, I didn’t think you would come up with anything.  She is a non-entity–nothing more than a backstage helper in Barack Obama’s one man show.  She has become nothing short of useless–a no-name nothing negated to nowhere.

But her absence tells us volumes about the Obama administration.  Nobody, and I mean nobody, is to take the spotlight away from the Messiah (or as Oprah calls him, “The One”).  Hillary has met her match.  Who would have thought she would have been polishing Obama’s shoes pretending to do foreign policy.  She has become the joke Conservatives always thought she was.  That’s the funny part.

Well, good luck to Hillary…um, what’s her name again?

Diplomatic Naiveté by The Great Pretender

International diplomacy is not for the stupid. Although it is claimed that Obama and most of his staff have above average IQs, they have demonstrated over and over their stupidity. The unusual thing, at least to me, is that still about half of America thinks that this Administration is smarter than the average “bear”.

For those of you too young to remember the “bear” is an old term for Mother Russia.

At the G20 Conference, Russian President  Medvedev hailed Barack Hussein Obama as his “new comrade”. Unlike the bumbling Administration staff who can’t even get “reset” translated correctly  Medvedev chose his words very carefully.

Webster’s has two definitions, one for the noun, “comrade,” and one for the proper noun (title), “Comrade.” The term “comrade” is NOT a Russian word for friend. The Russian word for friend is “друг”, pronounced droog.

Wikipedia has a detailed article on the history of the title “comrade/Comrad”.

Medvedev knew exactly what he was doing when he announced to the World that he and Obama are “comrades”. America took a giant step backwards in its ranking as a World power as a result.

And then Obama genuflected to the Saudi King and we took another step backwards.

And we shouldn’t forget Michelle who actually thinks she is a queen and has an entourage to prove it.

Almost every major bill submitted since Inauguration Day has contained some language to either “redistribute wealth”, rewrite the Constitution or to disarm and disenfranchise the voters. This from a President who refuses to release records concerning his education or birth, or foreign travel.

Welcome the United Social States of America and the New World Order, Comrades!

Paving The Way?

Is this column really about John Edwards or is Ms. Estrich rolling out the Sleaze Carpet for the return of Willie the Zipper to Washington?

The biggest derailment of the Hope & Change Express has been the fact that the government will soon be polluted with Clintonites again. While some of us have always known that you can’t get rid of Bill, Hill and the Flying Monkeys who serve as their minions, many on the Right were hoping that the Sleaze Circus had been relegated to the periphery of the Democratic party.

Yes, you’re wondering why I’m turning a column about John Edwards into a blog post about the Clintons. Simple, now that they are back in the thick of things, it’s always about the Clintons. Have you people not been paying attention?

The theme of Estrich’s argument for Edwards is what set the Clinton alarms (I have them installed all over my brain) off. She trots out the wearisome “Should what a man does in his personal life affect his professional life?” line of non-reasoning.

Must we preface the return of the Democrats to the White House with moral equivocation? Couldn’t we at least wait until breakfast time on January 21st (the first time Bill lets the zipper fly) to get this garbage rolling?

The gist of the argument for Edwards:

If he has something to add — and I think he does — should he be disqualified from doing so because he is a lying lout?

Then:

Washington is full of lying louts.

“Everybody’s doing it” is an excuse a high school boy uses to get his girlfriend drunk and horny, not one that bolsters the resumé of a prospective United States Attorney General.

Quick question: will any prominent voice in the Democratic party stand up and say that marital infidelity is wrong? It shouldn’t be that difficult.

Edwards managed to up the sleaze factor several notches by cheating on a wife who is battling cancer. He out-Clintoned Clinton!

Yes, I believe people should be given second chances. I don’t, however, believe that Edwards should be given the jobs that Estrich mentions. A man who comfortably and publicly lied shouldn’t be the head of the Dept. of Justice. Likewise, a man who publicly humiliated his family shouldn’t be in charge of Health and Human Services.

Estrich also gives a nod to the “only because he got caught” idiocy too.

Her passionate argument for dismissing egregious sleaze made a wave of Clinton fatigue wash over me. You could swap Bill Clinton’s name for John Edwards in any of her moral equivalency arguments and it would be 1998 all over again. If I had the time today I’d look to see if half this wasn’t taken from an old article of hers.

Edwards made his own bed. Then he invited a woman who wasn’t his wife to sleep in it. Now he’s not going to be a Cabinet member. He’s still filthy rich from his ambulance-chasing money and his wife is still married to him. It’s going to be difficult find many tears for him, Susan.

But Bill and Hillary are coming back to the Executive Branch. You might want to keep a few versions of this column ready for the future.

Is Hillary Clinton Eligible to Serve as Secretary of State?

Is Hillary Clinton Eligible to Serve as Secretary of State?

Not until 2013, says Judicial Watch:

According to the Ineligibility Clause of the United States Constitution, no member of Congress can be appointed to an office that has benefited from a salary increase during the time that Senator or Representative served in Congress. A January 2008 Executive Order signed by President Bush during Hillary Clinton’s current Senate term increased the salary for Secretary of State, thereby rendering Senator Clinton ineligible for the position.

Specifically, Article I, section 6 of the U.S. Constitution provides “No Senator or Representative shall, during the Time for which he was elected, be appointed to any civil Office under the Authority of the United States, which shall have been created, or the Emoluments whereof shall have been encreased during such time.” The provision is seen by most as designed by our Founding Fathers to protect against corruption…Continue reading on Judicial Watch >>

Hillary vs. Sarah, America vs. Iran, and the Film About Stonings in Iran That Ahmadinejad Needs To See

Yes, that man is coming back on September 22nd to address the UN. Of course, Jewish groups are holding protest rallies and politicians are being hastily invited and are dis-inviting themselves as speakers. Hillary has now declined to speak on the same platform as Palin, Palin is still planning to speak, the Democrats are trying to persuade the various Jewish groups to cancel Palin, and McCain, in his signature “anti-partisanship” style, is trying to persuade the Democrats to join the Republicans in speaking out against a nuclear and genocidal Iran. According to spokeswoman Tracey Schmitt, “Governor Palin believes that the danger of a nuclear Iran is greater than party or politics. She hopes that all parties can rally together in opposition to this grave threat.”

According to Israel Today, Christians demand that the UN indict Ahmadinejad over threats to Israel. (God bless them). A petition signed by 55,000 Christians from 128 nations demanding the arrest and indictment of the Iranian President will be delivered to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon this week, reported The Jerusalem Post.

I have an additional suggestion.

Let’s all watch a movie. There is a suitable one coming our way, based on Iranian journalist Freidoune Sahebjam’s jewel of a book, The Stoning of Soraya M. The great Iranian expatriate actress, Shohreh Aghdashloo, stars in it; reason enough to see it…Continue reading on Chesler Chronices >>

Alpha feMale Syndrome

The lesser usually backs down.

ClintonPalin

Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton this morning canceled an appearance at a New York City protest rally targeting Iran next week after her aides were informed that Gov. Sarah Palin of Alaska, the Republican vice-presidential nominee, had also been invited to attend the demonstration.

Look, any of us men folk who have worked with women know that they typically don’t like each other and if they are on friendly terms, its usually within the parameters of a “pack of victims.”  You know, the “poor me” coffee klatch.

Now don’t go getting your flannel shirts and underwear with “willy slots” in the front all in a knot feminist.  I said typically, not always.  Honestly, you know deep down in your bra burning (which I support) heart that would be queen Hillary doesn’t want to get shown up by the better woman.

Not to mention trying to keep Bill away from her.  Had to say it.

But of course the Clinton machine has what can only be described as a “logical” reason for backing out.

“Her attendance was news to us, and this was never billed to us as a partisan political event,” said a spokesman for Mrs. Clinton, Philippe Reines, this morning. “Senator Clinton will therefore not be attending.”

Partisan?  Oh, that’s right, Iran only hates republicans.

I think its funny to see Hillary slink off into the darkness with her Marxist tail tucked.  Cracks me up.  Run away little baby, run away.  Maybe your “good friend” Madame Pelosi will console you.

Or, we could call Don King and arrange the fight of the century!  CATFIGHT!!!
