Got this, today from Rippin’ Richie, at PopAndLock.com, who talks about accusations by some in Washington D.C., and some in the media that those who oppose President Obama are “racist”:
These accusations are too ridiculous to be taken seriously, so It’s hard for me to be offended.
When some congressman guy says the chosen one lies
That’s a racist
When some tax payer minds that we’re robbing him blind
That’s a racist
Though they screamed all of the same things, all of the same things
at that white Clinton fella
We will play race cards everyday, race cards everyday
cause we got nothing betta
When a man won’t be fooled by our dump trucks of bull
That’s a racist
When he takes to the street to protest the deceit
That’s just hate
Wanting government lean not utopian dreaming
and statist
Scuzza me, but you see, to us in the left wing
That’s a racist

Obama And ‘Pay-To-Play’

Lets see if I have this right. By virtue of the fact that Obama has been elected President, a man who has achieved nothing of note in his 47 year-old life except getting elected President, he is now the world’s expert on everything.
Now that Obama is the President-elect of the US, Americans must assume that he is automatically invested with the implied virtue and high moral standing of the office he will soon occupy. We must also assume his proposed solutions to America’s problems are grounded in reality and common sense. In other words, we must ignore the evidence of his actions.
We must ignore his consorting with America haters and domestic terrorists. We must overlook his 20 year acceptance and endorsement of a hate-whitey and damn America ideology spewed by his mentor and pastor. We must avert our eyes from the legitimate questions arising from his convoluted purchase of additional acreage for his home in Chicago from Tony Rezko.
And questioning how a political novice managed to rise to the top of the corrupt Chicago machine without being part of it is considered evidence of either racism or hate.
Obama’s former colleagues and current political appointees continue to bite the dust, being indicted and/or being investigated for corruption at an alarming rate, yet we are to assume all this corruption happened without Obama either noticing it or being a part of it. Americans are now required to ignore the evidence of their own eyes, ignore common sense conclusions, and give this man the benefit of the doubt.
Presumption of innocence is one thing, ignoring facts and common sense is quite another.
Despite what the media and political elites would have us believe, a man can and may be judged by who he chooses to associate with. If a kid hangs with a gang, its reasonable to assume he agrees and accepts the actions of his fellows. If a politician associates with fellows that continue to be exposed as corrupt, it is reasonable to assume that he is, at the very least, a willing participant.

White Teacher Under Fire For Duct Taping Black Students Feet and Hands

It was a “lesson” on slavery.
HAVERSTRAW, N.Y. (CBS) ― Reenactments and demonstrations can be helpful teaching tools, but did a Rockland County teacher take that approach too far? She’s under fire for binding the hands of black students and having them sit under a desk during a lesson on slavery.
Christine Shand says it was a terrible experience for her daughter, Gaby, descended, like most Jamaicans, from slaves.
“She burst into tears, she was crying and she was horrified,” Shand told CBS 2 HD.
In a social studies class at Haverstraw Middle School, teacher Eileen Bernstein chose Gaby and another girl for a demonstration of conditions on ships that carried slaves out of Africa.
One African-American student raised her hand to volunteer for the demonstration. Gaby did not volunteer, but was chosen anyway.
“She taped their hands together, taped their feet together, and she had them crawl under the desk as if they were on a slave ship,” her mother told CBS 2.
Mrs. Shand said Gaby was traumatized. She questions the teacher’s judgment.
“There are other ways to demonstrate slavery. There’s movies, you don’t actually have to grab two kids and like put shackles on them,” she said.
Wilbur Aldridge, the regional NAACP director, went with the Shands Thursday to meet Bernstein.
“She said she apologized for causing any problems for the child, but she was not apologizing for using that simulation during the class,” Aldridge said.
But Principal Avis Shelby apologized, calling the slave ship demonstration a “bad decision.”
“And we have things in place to make sure it doesn’t occur again,” Shelby added.
Mrs. Shand said she’s still not satisfied and is mulling her options, worrying about how Gaby will perform the rest of the school year.
In the meantime, Mrs. Bernstein has remained in the classroom. Because it’s a personnel issue, school officials won’t say if she’s been disciplined or reprimanded.
Now ‘ole Buffoon is about the most callous, anti-PC guy on the planet and even I think this was way out of line… Will the ominous Obama adoring Teachers Union allow her to be fired?
A Post Racial America?
November 6, 2008 by Zap Brannigan

Its been all of 2 days since President Elect Obama won the election, an action that was supposed to be the start of a new era in race relations in America. If this is true, why is it all that I hear is: “Well…its just a beginning…it doesn’t make up for it all. RACISM is NOT over!” I have listened to various talk shows over the past couple of days now, and I either hear the previous sentiment, or I hear a smug rub-it-in-the-white-mans-face attitude. Isn’t this exactly the opposite of what President Elect Obama’s message was, one of unity and progressiveness?
Let me explain where I am personally at this time. McCain was my lesser of two evils candidate. I had hoped for a stronger Conservative candidate, but what I got was McCain. I opposed President Elect Obama due to his politics, not his skin color. I truly believe that at least 80% of the voters who opposed him did so for the same reason. I am now saddened to see the post election attitudes of many black people. I am hearing VERY little love and unity. I am hearing a lot of smugness, and vindictiveness. Perhaps that will change after things have settled down.
Patrice Oneal on John Gibson’s show was especially typified this attitude, “…even the white people that voted for him (Obama)…you don’t get to just be exonerated for your …covertness..and your dishonesty…about racism.” In other words, even you white Obama voters are racist and you don’t even know it.
Talk about bitter-clingers. A lot of black folks seem to be bitterly clinging to their feelings of racist oppression even into the new post-racial world. As I was typing this blog entry, a friend of mine sent me this link. There’s some nice post-racial sentiment there.
Let me tell you something, my dark skinned brothers and sisters: I love you. Always have. If anyone is feeling unloved in the post-racial era we are stepping into, its me. But its cool, I’ll endure. I’ll overcome. Give him a few years and I think we will all see he is just as likely to botch a thing or two as W. was, or President Clinton.
For the record, I opposed Senator Obama on a basis of politics, not race. His views are not mine.
Hope…Change…well, sometime in the future I guess. Let me know when its here.

I really shouldn’t read the comments on news articles – it raises my blood pressure! First, read the selected comments, then the rest of the story. (Warning if you have high blood pressure please, medicate before reading, and all spelling mistakes are copied directly.)
This is the sick humor of the Republican Party. They are racist and hateful. They are always talking about values. Is this what they call values? Wake up America they are trying to turn the clock back. We democrates need to take a stand against this type of bigotry. We are better than that. The Republican party is shaking their heads now. They simply can’t believe that a Black/Biracial man has gotten this far and they will stop at nothing to try to destroy him. They will lose in the end. OBAMA will win and the “White House” will finally be for everyone. Blacks, Whites, Latino’s, Asians, Gay and Straight. We are all one America.
