These elitist ‘conservatives’ give real conservatives, and the GOP a bad name! They continue to gain ‘expertise’ in costing us elections against the communist Democrats. Their absolute reluctance in getting behind the momentum of Sarah ‘Barracuda’ Palin, the main reason we won so many seats locally, proves the point.

Yes, we should support these beltway insider SNOBS who supported McCain’s efforts to repeatedly make the point that Obama was right. Oh yes! PLEASE show us all how to lose more elections!!!

When compared to the current ‘ruling class”, Palin’s supposed faults are trivial. What is most relevant is their attacks reflect everything that is wrong with these SNOBS. Their claims to be conservatives continue to fall
on deafened ears.

Where are the commentaries on the GOP’s menopausal wing? Certainly the motivations of the likes of Peggy Noonan deserves a much closer examination. Is she afraid of the competition that Sarah gives the supposed conservative women, or is it that Noonan recognises that she herself isn’t up to the caliber of this most appreciated woman?

Having worked at the grass roots level, I am grateful for the efforts of Sarah Palin. Her monumental success at getting the republican base excited in the last election did more to get real conservatives elected than did
the rest of these lousy snobbish beltway insiders.

These Republican Party hacks had better learn that Palin’s success or failure will ultimately be their own. If real Republicans actually want to win [what a nice change that would be!]in 2010, 2012, and beyond, they had
better start by realizing what it is that makes Sarah Palin the lone inspirational conservative politician that the GOP so desperately needs.

Conservatives are Feminists, Liberals Are Misogynists

Over the weekend, Asma al-Ghul, a Palestinian woman journalist in Gaza was nearly arrested by Hamas policemen for “laughing in public” and for dressing “immodestly” at the beach. The police confiscated her passport. Subsequent death threats have kept her confined to her home. (Hat tip to Jeffrey Imm of Real Courage).

If Hamas has its way, the women of Gaza will soon be wearing burqas or the Iranian version of them. My question: If Asma immigrates to America, will she be free of such policing? Who will best safeguard her personal rights in America?

Some of my best friends are, or certainly were, liberals. As long as they are not still afflicted with Bush Derangement or Let’s-All-Pile-On Palin Syndrome, we have certain memories, friends, interests, and values in common.

Well, maybe we don’t anymore…Continue reading on Chesler Chronicles >>

Sarah Palin Resigns

On July 3, 2009, Gov. Sarah Palin (R-AK) shocked the political world by announcing that she’s not only declining to run for re-election in 2010, but she’s resigning her office.

Did you hear that sound?

Friday will be forever remembered by me not as the day that Sarah resigned, but as the day that she threw down the gauntlet and began her national career of returning America to its roots.

Across the blog-o-sphere were cheers as people came to realize that the last remaining conservative leader cast off her shackles so she could continue her fight against political corruption, insider politics, and media bias.

The sound we all heard also resonated in the White House as they came to realize a real American just became free to fight against their America destroying politics, and cowardly socialist revolution.

Amongst those making that revolting noise were the beltway insiders on both sides of the isle, Congress, the faux independants, the weak kneed moderates, and the socialist media.

As they were gearing up to celebrate their day of Obama Dependence they heard the lone voice of conservative ideology tell the World that she was now free to take the fight to the next level …

…and the sound of a collective crapping of the pants was heard.

Sarah 2012!

SarahCuda To Join The NCNA

palinWhile reading over at Michelle Malkin’s blog I discovered that Governor Sarah Palin’s joining the National Council For A New America. This could be a good thing. As that council is receiving little support, and creating no excitment, her involvment could turn it around so that it becomes her own organization. That all depends on how many SarahCuda people show up at their town hall meetings.

The beltway insiders along with the liberal media have been attacking her ever since her message resonated with American voters. No one on the right recieves the sort of attention Sarah gets, and that is due to her sucessfulness as a conservative communicator, and her successes in governing. The GOP has no one of her caliber, and hasn’t since Reagan. He too was widely besmirched.

We conservatives were excluded in the last election cycle by Juan McAmnesty and the beltway Insiders. We, and by that I mean You too, need to show up to all of their meetings, as well as your local GOP meetings, be there as much as you can be before the elections, and you will make a difference. I know how it is to feel like a cow bell on a Cessna, but by just being there you will meet other conservative minded people, and together you can shake things up.

Starting a new party sounds great right now. The effort and money it would take to do so prohibits that. We will be better off taking back the GOP for its infrastructure alone, and returning it to the once glorious Party of Reagan.

It is all about baby steps. The GOP beltway insiders know that, and that is what scares them very badly. That is what caused McAmnesty’s people to stab Sarah in the back then, and now. We can make a difference.

Now would be a good time to send SarahPac a few bucks, and befriend her on Twitter.

Palin’s 1st Knife In The Back

Ace says the inevitable “It’s her fault!” b.s. has begun.

Fox New was quoting some anonymous McCain campaign aides who were more than willing to blame their gutless performance on Gov. Palin. Would these aides have been high enough up to be responsible for one of the worst campaigns in modern memory? Palin was the only reason any of us woke up with even a bit of hope yesterday. Had she not shown up, Obama’s furniture would be parked in a truck outside the White House already, hoping for an early move-in.

And she was all McCain’s idea. Figure it out. He didn’t listen to them so they’ve been running around with their egos all full of boo-boos and now it’s time to act out. Ace mentions something that I’ve also seen on Twitter and in a couple other blogs today: none of these idiots should be allowed to work on a campaign again. Based on their performance in this one they’d have a hard time getting entry-level work at McDonald’s.

Ace also links to a video at Hot Air. They smell the disgruntled dung all over this as well.

One thing’s for sure, the Palin bashing won’t be over for a while. They know she’s tough enough to take it and won’t retaliate in public.

But I hope she’s keeping a private file.

UPDATE:

These smear pigs are about to run into a buzz saw.

Michelle Malkin unloads on them in her inimitable way.

Shame on the smearers who don’t have the balls to show their faces.

Hot Air has some more video and explores the Romney link mentioned in the comments to this post.

RedState makes it clear that the idiots are about to have their ass-covering backfire in a most explosive way.

We intend to constantly remind the base about these people, monitor who they are working for, and, when 2012 rolls around, see which candidates hire them. Naturally then, you’ll see us go to war against those candidates.

It is our expressed intention to make these few people political lepers.

Still think the base looked at Sarah Palin as a drag on the ticket?

Don’t believe the hype.

BREAKING in the Troopergate Fiasco: Gov. Palin is Exonerated

November 3, 2008 by forthardknox

The Anchorage Daily News is reporting:

The state Personnel Board-sanctioned investigation is the second into whether Palin violated state ethics law in firing her public safety commissioner, and it contradicts the earlier findings by a special counsel hired by the state Legislature.

Both investigations found that Palin was within her rights to fire Public Safety Commissioner Walt Monegan.

But the new report says the Legislature’s investigator was wrong to conclude that Palin abused her power by allowing aides and her husband, Todd, to pressure Monegan and others to dismiss her ex-brother-in-law, Trooper Mike Wooten. Palin was accused of firing Monegan after Wooten stayed on the job…(more)

Common sense prevails – a bit late, according to Ed Morrissey, of HotAir:

It’s probably too late to address the political damage done by the partisan hack job from the legislature, but at least it will correct the record….Monegan won’t get a hearing from the Personnel Board to “clear his reputation”. Where does Palin go to clear hers after this tempest in a teapot? (more)

Sarah and the Feminists

October 31, 2008 by Phyllis Chesler

The Culture and Media Institute has just released a study entitled Character Assassination: How the TV Networks Have Portrayed Sarah Palin as Dunce or Demon. It documents that the mainstream media’s hostility to Governor Sarah Palin has been extreme, perhaps unprecedented. While the majority of the attacks have been launched by men, media women, including feminists on both sides of the aisle, have not been shy.

Many female journalists, including feminist activists Eve Ensler, Kim Gandy, Eleanor Smeal, Gloria Steinem, and Judith Warner, attacked Palin on the issues–abortion, birth control, equal pay, gun control, the environment, energy, and religion. This is entirely legitimate. But their tone was often unexpectedly and extremely personal, cruel, slightly hysterical. Palin gives Ensler “nightmares.” Warner views her as “fake as they come” and as “America’s Hottest Governor (Princess of the Fur Rendezvous 1983, Miss Wasilla).” Warner softens and, in a second piece views Palin as womens’ “inner Elle Woods,” the heroine played by Reese Witherspoon in Legally Blonde.

Don’t Believe The Hype

October 28, 2008 by Stephen Kruiser

If you are a McCain-Palin supporter these days any exposure to the media can be disheartening. Guess what kids? It’s only going to get worse.

You are going to be under a barrage of negative news telling you that your candidate is doomed and your life sucks because you didn’t fall under the Obama spell. “Hey, don’t even get out of bed loser.”

I think we have established by now that the MSM is not just in the tank for Beloved Leader Obama, they’re naked and spooning with him at this point. They want you to be discouraged and stay home. So when you turn on the TV you’ll hear all about The One’s coronation plans. When you log into your Yahoo! mail you’ll see poll numbers that will make you want to head to Mexico for some cheap Zoloft. The number one show in America this week will be “Barack Obama and the Mantle of Inevitability”.

Just remember this, when I went to lunch on the West coast on Election Day 2004 all the exit polls were telling me that John Kerry was going to be the next POTUS.

This is hardly the time to go underground and hope we don’t all get assigned to ACORN sponsored reeducation camps.

Rasmussen shows Pennsylvania tightening and Ace of Spades HQ has some ideas for working in the home stretch.

The angry, well-organized and deadly serious PUMAS offer some even more encouraging news.

Tonight we spoke with a friend from Hillary Clinton’s campaign who is now working for McCain/Palin — and is specifically working with Democrats for McCain in Pennsylvania. We worked with her in Texas, Indiana, Ohio, and Pennsylvania for Hillary and have spent many LONG hours with her in the trenches in all of those states. She’s smart, doesn’t BS, and never lies.

She says the same thing we do: John McCain will win Pennsylvania.

Nothing anywhere or at any time is a given, of course. But that includes an Obama victory. If you’re a sports nut then remember how many experts picked the New York Giants in the Super Bowl. The game still has to be played.

If you can’t get to a swing state and knock on doors, you can make phone calls to the state of your choice all you want between now and then.

Yes, it would be better if McCain was up in the polls right now but he’s not. But we don’t need to hang our heads, cry and get marched right over because we listened to the very MSM that we’re always saying is biased.

One last note:

Extra beer might help.

Can Obama be lynched? No. Can Sarah Palin? Yes.

October 27, 2008 by Orlando

Can you imagine if someone were to hang an effigy of Barack Obama in a mock lynching.  Imagine the outcry that would occur and the worldwide media attention it would get.  Yet, nobody thinks twice about Sarah Palin’s effigy being lynched for Halloween.  Here’s the story from Reuters:

A mannequin dressed to resemble the Alaska governor, with her trademark beehive hairdo and glasses, was hung by the neck from the eaves of the home in famously liberal West Hollywood.

On the roof, a mannequin of Republican presidential candidate John McCain, protruded from the chimney surrounded in flames, holding his head as he was apparently burned alive.

“We have been getting some phone calls this morning complaining about it but if (the homeowner) isn’t in violation of municipal code we have no reason to cite them,” West Hollywood spokeswoman Helen Goss said.

“People have First Amendment rights (to free speech),” Goss said. “I would speculate that if it’s part of a Halloween display then its political satire.”

MSM Keeps Its Lips On The Prize

Honestly, how Barack Obama manages to walk with every member of the MSM kissing his butt at once amazes me.

In a rational world, Barack Obama’s “Look at me, I’m a socialist!” interview would be the story of the day. All the right-wing blogs are talking about it, my inbox has been flooded with emails about it all day. When I saw that Drudge had a big headline about it I decided to see if maybe, just maybe, the story was working its way into the MSM.

I really should begin drug testing myself after such thoughts. My first two stops told me everything I needed to know. I hit the CNN site and the New York Times site. Both are still two of the biggest names in MSM Bizarro World so I always check them first to see what’s on the minds of those who prefer not to use their minds.

Any mention that the guy who may very well be the next POTUS offered proof in his own words that he’s a raging socialist? Nah, that would be too, you know, responsible.

Instead, both sites featured stories bitching about Sarah Palin.

Focused little lefty advocates, aren’t they?

Obama waxes on an on about redistribution and it may as well have happened on the far side of the distant planet Moonbat Prime.

“Sarah Palin went off script? WHAT?!?!? The American people need to know this-make it the feature story now!”

These morons are protected by the very First Amendment that their irresponsibility is helping to destroy.

I’m running out of expletives to scream at the computer these days, I might have to start making some new ones up. We’ll all probably have to speak in code soon anyway.
